After recording "Outlaws Lament"at Bates Bros Recorders in Alabama, Sonny Tackett went to the studio to help record John Whitleys debut cd. Sadly John was killed in an auto accident and the cd was never released. Sonny hasa lot of video from these sessions, and we will be adding these as we go. This video shows bluegrass great Don Rigsby adding mandolin to one of Johns tracks,"Right Track ,WrongTrain". This is a good example of an accomplished musician, as we see Don warming up, learning the track, laying down the track, and overdubbing a short break.Since this recording , Don has become one of bluegrass's most sought after players.
