The vintage tape recorder is long since gone in the market, but occasionally appears on E-Bay. I found this recorder at a very good price because it had some serious problems. It needed new belts (replaced) and the main drive idler wheel is dried and cracked with oxidation due to age. Nevertheless, I was able to coax it back into functionality and the SONY TC 104 reel to reel tape recorder has come back to life, vibrant as ...
