Slim and company turn in a top-notch, spot-on performance that would have given some of the (then) current disco practitioners a run for their money. Recorded during the sessions for "ZOOM" at Track Recorders in Silver Spring, Maryland; and then left stillborn for nearly thirty years. I first heard this courtesy of Joe Lee at Joe's Record Paradise in Takoma Park, on a 12" white label test pressing. IRS Records were considering including it on the "ZOOM" album, then (because the song tracked for over six minutes) considered a possible 12" disco single to be released...but was shelved for reasons known only to them. Oh well...so what - who cares ? You have it now ...even though your probably far too old to enjoy it at this point !
